Ermilo Espinosa
México
Ermilo Espinosa is a visual artist specialized in painting, with great interest in the technique and in the poetic and philosophical aspect of his work. Bachelor in Visual Arts with orientation in painting from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico; he has also taken courses in the Yucatan Fine Arts State Center and at the Cabañas Cultural Center in Guadalajara. His encounter with the visual arts starts at the very roots of his childhood, due to the great and important influence of his grandfather, a renowned Yucatecan artist, who has been his main teacher.
Influenced by the masterful portrayals of Maestro Torre Gamboa, the synergy of a group of young creators from Guadalajara and the admiration for artists such as Arturo Rivera, Sandorfi, Saudek and Gottfried Helnwein, Espiniosa Torre has always sought to achieve technical mastery and strong intuitive communication with the viewer.
His artistic projects have allowed him to study in person the work of great masters in some of the best museums in the world, as well as the avant-garde proposals of the most recognized international fairs and biennials.

Ermilo is represented by Galerie LeRoyer. For information on available artworks, please click here.
